Ms. Chiria da Luz Fortes is our curator and founder of Ebony Art Spot. She graduated M.A. Cultural Studies & Entrepreneurship at Erasmus University Rotterdam with a minor in African Studies at Leiden University. With a passion for contemporary art and African history she wanted to create an art platform that would increase positive African representation and to support African artists. Being of African descent herself, a proud Cape Verdean living in the Netherlands, this matter goes to heart and hopefully also to yours.
