Our product
Our product is a gallery quality, archival Giclée art print. Our supplier works with the latest printing techniques and the 300 g/m2 paper that is used is a heavy, gallery quality material. If preserved right, the fine art prints will keep their quality for hundreds of years. The canvas prints are graphic UV protected prints that is UV protected up until 15 years. Printed on demand and shipped from Rotterdam, the Netherlands. We advise to not place anyartwork in direct sunlight to preserve its quality.
Our artists
The beautiful African artists we work with are from all over the world. Our current artists are from Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Barbados, Brasil and the United States each exploring their own unique narratives through their art. We are in close contact with all our artists and have a clear agreement with them about the conditions their artwork is used. All the artwork available on our website are reproductions of original works and are always credited to the originating artist. Get to know the artists.
Our curator
Ms. Chiria da Luz Fortes is our curator and founder of Ebony Art Spot. She graduated M.A. Cultural Studies & Entrepreneurship at Erasmus University Rotterdam with a minor in African Studies at Leiden University. With a passion for contemporary art and African history she wanted to create an art platform that would increase positive African representation and to support African artists.
